The reason for this is, that I need to redirect certain syslog
messages to a pipe, so that the client is able to capture and evaluate
them.
In /etc/rsyslog.d/30-l2tp-ipsec-vpn.conf
PS: A similar problem exists for /etc/init.d/umountroot.
It remounts the lxc root partition read-only, which affects
the host system. This is a severe problem.
The workaround is to disable both startup scripts in
/etc/insserv/overrides.

Thanks for the report this bug is because of removal of
update-openoffice-dictionaries[1] which is used in the upstream Makefile
I've notified upstream and once the fix is provided we will upload new
package.
