I now find out, that SDL_GetWindowMaximumSize and
SDL_GetWindowMinimumSize are bounderies for SDL_SetWindowSize.
There exist also the functions SDL_SetWindowMaximumSize and
SDL_SetWindowMinimumSize.
This means that MinimumSize and MaximumSize is per default zero.

Yup, this seems to do the trick. I only tested it briefly, but I could
no longer immediately trigger the bug after applying this patch. (And
reverting it makes mpv freeze again
