In the end I think the update of openssl from 1.1.0h-4 to
1.1.1-4 makes the difference.
Since some 1.1.1 version /etc/ssl/openssl.cnf seems to contain:
CipherString = DEFAULT@SECLEVEL
X11 crashes if I launch libreoffice from a terminal session o xfbrun,
through command libreoffice 1 time on 2 . If I libreoffice is launched
opening a file sometimes crash, but not as frequent as launching
libreoffice itself.

I echo that it'd be strongly desirable to have a new tpm2-tools in
Debian. The current version does not even talk to the TPM2 device by
default, but instead requires explicit options to do so. Instead it
assumes that you are using the tools against a software emulator.
