That's not possible because it requires a newer node-carto which has a
problematic dependency chain like many Node.js

pygts is dead upstream and the C parts of the code will need a bit of work to
port them to Python 3. This package does have a reasonable popcon (281) but
it's hard to see the porting work happening.
