Hi Julien,
I opened this bug one year ago, so I'm not sure what I meant with
"network hasn't started yet" (perhaps a not working DHCP...). Anyway, if

This package should not be in testing.
Reasons: No security support from upstream for this version, as it is
upstream abandoned.
I would also consider removing it from stable, as I think the security
team cannot support it.

Hi,
wondering why my system applet showed such a high mem usage, it turned
out that nstxcd was using a huge amount of RAM. That bug might deserve
a higher severity, but since I'm not sure, leaving it to important for
now.

I have a 'Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX' and use the gspca module to
operate it. The cam works fine in applications like Camorama, amsn and
Ekiga. I have noticed though, that if I use the cam with a flash-based

Hi,
I was reading some bugs reports before posting this one, and I came to the
conclusion that many people were experiencing Xserver lock-ups with the

Filing a bug is not overkill. The fact that many packages have unclear
descriptions (few as confusing as this one, though) is an indication
that Debian has many bugs, not that it's a problem. Users rely on
package descriptions to understand what the packages do.
