With iceweasel 3.5.8 the boxes where black, with version
3.5.12 I had grey boxes, then also galeon and revelation
were showing grey boxes.
After some investigations I found that it must have
something to do with the fglrx drivers.
The closing of bug 596710 [1] appears to have resolved this problem.
