this is wrong in the other direction: the printf buffer lives on the
host side, so the host's idea of buffer sizes is relevant. The size
isn't verified in clinfo at all, leading to:

Currently /usr is not mounted automatically. However, with the attac
I saw that Mike has done the still missing fix now. I have tried it out
and it works now. So it is fixed in the current GIT state of CUPS. To
fix the package in experimental, you need to replace the file
filter/raster.c by the current one from GIT.
