Hi,
I'll have a look asap, probably during this week end.
Could you tell me from which version you were upgrading ?
Regards, Adam.

if dpkg --compare-versions $2 lt 2.6.2-1; then

The old behavior lead to security issue reported in bug 445315 and CVE
2007-5159.
You could still use dpkg-statoverride to get ntfs-3g binary setuid root
with groupe fuse, thus would restore the old behavior.
I can't tell you more, maybe you could use sudo instead ?

Adam, being aggressive towards beginners taking part to a bug
squashing party and trying to learn and improve Debian is not
tolerable

I'll fix fuse soon.
Moreover adding dpatch dependency seems to be crap, because I don't
think fuse source needs dpatch at all.
A proper fix would be to figure out why module building targets does
depend on dpatch.

Hi,
A fixed package is already on debian-mentors.
I'll ask my sponsor to upload it today.
Thanks.

sure why you applied something different. oh well.
Hi,
This is probably due to all soname changes off libboost.
A binNMU would fix the problem, however I just uploaded -2 which fix a
bunch of issues.
Could you please wait for 0.5.5-2 and give a try again ?
Thanks in advance,
Regards, Adam.
