Bug#851052: abiword: Work area flickers up to 30 thimes on every Charachter input
Package: abiword Version: 3.0.2-2 Followup-For: Bug #851052 Hi, This bug is reproducible in real hardware (Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3110M CPU @ 2.40GHz) as well as in two virtualbox installations, both Debian unstable. I think that the severity "should" be changed to "serious/grave" because with such flickering Abiword is unusable. Package: fvwm Version: 1:2.6.7-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, The GUI menu config tool doesn't pop-up when having several "menus" installed. Package: virtualbox Version: 5.1.12-dfsg-2 Followup-For: Bug #844165 Dear Maintainer, You may want to check https://gitlab.com/o9000/tint2/issues/619 The issue discussed there still present with Virtualbox 5.1.12-dfsg-2, only reproducible combining openbox+tint2+virtualbox. Regards, Awtul
Bug#844165: virtualbox: Virtualbox & guests windows moving "alone" when mouse pointer moves.
Hi, The bug is now partially solved with Tint2 version 0.12.12-2 updated today thanks to upstream patch, but the bug still reproducible combining openbox (3.6.1-4), tint2 (0.12.12-1) and virtualbox (5.1.12-dfsg-2) using default configs for all of them except "autohide" feature enabled for tint2 (not enabled by default - tint2rc ---> Panel ---> autohide=1 for enable it). So I attached default tint2rc (autohide enabled) and default openbox rc.xml. Pretty sure you will be able to reproduce using the following Debian version of: -openbox: 3.6.1-4 -tint2: 0.12.12-1 -virtualbox: 5.1.12-dfsg-2 as other people have done according to https://gitlab.com/o9000/tint2/issues/619 and https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=849228 As I said, the bug is only present under openbox if autohide feature is enabled for tint2 and only virtualbox is affected. Not reproducible under fluxbox, fvwm and xfce using xfce4-panel and fbpanel or tint2 with autohide feature disabled. According to tint2 upstream, the bug "is in either openbox or virtualbox". Please, let me know if you need more info. Bug#844165: virtualbox: Virtualbox & guests windows moving "alone" when mouse pointer moves.
Just a correction. In my previous message I meant: "As I said, the bug is only present under openbox if autohide feature is enabled for tint2 and only virtualbox is affected. Not reproducible under fluxbox, fvwm and xfce using xfce4-panel and fbpanel or tint2 with autohide features enabled (for xfce4-panel, fbpanel and tint2)." Cheers, Awtul

Well, I'm trying "Afterstep" in a VM (virtualbox), not on real hardware, but I don't think it matters. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.8.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages afterstep depends on: ii afterstep-data2.2.12-8 ii debianutils 4.8.1 ii dpkg 1.18.18 ii gnome-terminal [x-terminal-emulator] 3.22.1-1 ii imagemagick 8:6.9.7.0+dfsg-2 ii imagemagick-6.q16 [imagemagick] 8:6.9.7.0+dfsg-2 ii libafterimage02.2.12-8+b1 ii libafterstep1 2.2.12-8+b1 ii libc6 2.24-8 ii libdbus-1-3 1.10.14-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.50.2-2 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.31-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.4-2 ii libxext6 2:1.3.3-1 ii lxterminal [x-terminal-emulator] 0.3.0-1 ii menu 2.1.47 ii menu-xdg 0.5 ii perl 5.24.1~rc4-1 ii terminator [x-terminal-emulator] 1.90-1 ii terminology [x-terminal-emulator] 0.9.1-1 ii ucf 3.0036 ii xterm [x-terminal-emulator] 327-2 Versions of packages afterstep recommends: ii gnome-themes-standard 3.22.2-1 Versions of packages afterstep suggests: pn asclock | wmitime pn asmail pn asmon pn mc pn wmcpuload ii xscreensaver 5.36-1 -- no debconf information Xsession: X session started for debian at dom ene 8 13:36:55 EST 2017 dbus-update-activation-environment: setting DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS=unix:path=/run/user/1000/bus dbus-update-activation-environment: setting DISPLAY=:0 dbus-update-activation-environment: setting XAUTHORITY=/home/debian/.Xauthority localuser:debian being added to access control list dbus-update-activation-environment: setting GTK_MODULES=gail:atk-bridge gpgconf: warning: can not open config file /home/debian/.gnupg/gpg-agent.conf: No existe el fichero o el directorio dbus-update-activation-environment: setting QT_ACCESSIBILITY=1 dbus-update-activation-environment: setting QT_LINUX_ACCESSIBILITY_ALWAYS_ON=1 OpenGL version: 3. dbus-update-activation-environment: setting USER=debian dbus-update-activation-environment: setting LANGUAGE=es_ES:es dbus-update-activation-environment: setting XDG_SESSION_TYPE=x11 dbus-update-activation-environment: setting HOME=/home/debian dbus-update-activation-environment: setting DESKTOP_SESSION=gnome dbus-update-activation-environment: setting XDG_SEAT_PATH=/org/freedesktop/DisplayManager/Seat0 dbus-update-activation-environment: setting GTK_MODULES=gail:atk-bridge dbus-update-activation-environment: setting QT_LINUX_ACCESSIBILITY_ALWAYS_ON=1 dbus-update-activation-environment: setting DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS=unix:path=/run/user/1000/bus dbus-update-activation-environment: setting LOGNAME=debian dbus-update-activation-environment: setting PATH=/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/local/games:/usr/games dbus-update-activation-environment: setting GDM_LANG=es_ES.utf8 dbus-update-activation-environment: setting XDG_SESSION_PATH=/org/freedesktop/DisplayManager/Session3 dbus-update-activation-environment: setting XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=/run/user/1000 dbus-update-activation-environment: setting DISPLAY=:0 dbus-update-activation-environment: setting LANG=es_ES.UTF-8 dbus-update-activation-environment: setting XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=GNOME dbus-update-activation-environment: setting XDG_SESSION_DESKTOP=gnome dbus-update-activation-environment: setting XAUTHORITY=/home/debian/.Xauthority dbus-update-activation-environment: setting XDG_GREETER_DATA_DIR=/var/lib/lightdm/data/debian dbus-update-activation-environment: setting SHELL=/bin/bash
Bug#817802: chromium: Scrolling over tabs doesn't work as expected.
Package: chromium Version: 55.0.2883.75-3 Followup-For: Bug #817802 Dear Maintainer, Please consider reopening this bug since it still present in chromium 55x. Mouse scroll over tabs for switch between tabs doesn't work as expected. I have to scroll twice up/down if the mouse pointer leaves chromium window instead of once for switch between tabs. It worked fine in earlier versions, before 55x and after 49x. Scroll over tabs for switch between tabs is a nice feature provided by chromium. I know it's a trivial issue but it would be nice to have it working just fine, as expected, under Stretch. Bug#913277: "FATAL_ERROR: No valid sound driver! FATAL_ERROR: Server exited!"
Package: moc Version: 1:2.6.0~svn-r2984-1 Followup-For: Bug #913277 I don't run moc remotly. I just access my X, my regular openbox user session, via wdm then I run mocp. All other apps works just fine. I am using cmus now. My user is member of all groups, sound included.
Bug#913277: "FATAL_ERROR: No valid sound driver! FATAL_ERROR: Server exited!"
Package: moc Version: 1:2.6.0~svn-r2984-1 Followup-For: Bug #913277 I just realized that 'mocp' crashes with the message pasted at the beginning of this report when there is another application playing sound. Example: I run a youtube video on firefox. I start 'mocp' and it crashes. If I close the youtube video on firefox, 'mocp' starts fine. I wonder why this issue started to happen just recently, and why now 'mocp' displays 'PCM' next to the volume level in the volume bar (example: 50 PCM). I think it doesn't do that days ago. According to dpkg.log, 'alsa-utils', 'libasound2', 'libasound2-data' and 'libasound2-plugins' have been upgraded a few days ago. Not sure if there is a correlation between those upgrades and 'moc'...

Package: moc Version: 1:2.6.0~svn-r2984-1 Followup-For: Bug #913277 Cache file deleted (.moc/cache) but I still get same error as pasted in first message. Moc config file just have the following line: Theme = /usr/share/moc/themes/black_theme I don't have a custom config; I use defaults. --- I have a sid vm almost fresh. I just installed 'mocp' and it starts just fine. But I started 'chromium' and played a youtube video and 'mocp' doesn't start; I get same error. So, 'mocp' crashes with the error message I pasted in the first message if I try to run it while any other application is playing audio/video. Same problem so in the host and in the vm, both sid and both up to date.
