If i deactivate scim (with command XMODIFIERS= xterm for example), everything's fine so i think it should come from scim. There is the same problem with dead-. To use deadkey with SCIM, you need to set the keyboard properly. Run the scim-setup program, in the FrontEnd - Global Setup pane, choose the correspoding keyboard layout and try again. Note you may need to log out X environment and re-log in to force scim to restart. Ming 2006.12.15 Hello Ming, i already set up the keyboard layout, (French/European). Maybe i misunderstand how scim works : my common alternate layouts are French and Anthy. I so switch between French/alternate by pressing ctrl-space. When activated (anthy mode) deadkeys works. as i use anthy ê becomes hiragana え for example. When deactivated, deadkeys are like deadkeys (nothing typed in when pressed one time) but i get aeiou instead of âêîôû. If i activate the alternate layout with a French/European mode, i get the correct letters. i also tried something : LANG=fr_FR urxvt to use latin1 charset instead of utf-8. there, scim does not work but the deadkeys are correct. Am i right or do i make a mistake ?

Bug#372087: cupsys-bsd: can't print using lpr

The chunking looks like it was fixed in 1.2.1, though, so the remaining problems must be something else. It's not clear what STR #1717 is caused by, but it looks like it's a setup error (no esp-gs). Could you set LogLevel to debug in cupsd.conf on the server, and then try printing. If you then post you error_log for that job, it would be useful. Sorry. I am not admin of that print-server. I have a German laptop keyboard and use deadkeys (configured in both xorg.conf and ~/.scim/global) I have this problem if I use XIM mode (I must export XMODIFIERS=@im=SCIM). A workaround is to use GTK_IM mode (which doesn't need export XMODIFIERS=@im=SCIM) for gtk applications. I have in my ~/.xsession (I use xdm): # SCIM # # XIM mode #export XMODIFIERS=@im=SCIM #export GTK_IM_MODULE=xim # # GTK_IM mode export GTK_IM_MODULE=scim # scim -d Bin SCIM has been claiming deadkey support for quite a while, so I am surprised that you still has this problem. Bug#349105: scim: doesn't work with gvim + vim-latexsuite under XIM mode and on the spot style

When using gvim to edit a LaTeX file, scim can be activated, but as long as the first key is pressed under the activated scim, scim will be deactivated immediately. This happens to me, but only when using XIM mode (need export XMODIFIERS=@im=SCIM). No problem if I use GTK_IM mode (without export XMODIFIERS=@im=SCIM). Regards, Bin This doesn't seem to be related to a particular IM engine, I can reproduce with both scim-pinyin and scim-tables-zh (scim-modules-table IM engine). The package versions used in my testing: ii vim-gnome6.4-006+2 ii vim-latexsuite 0.20041219-2 This is most likely an upstream issue, and someone said that upstream is aware of it. another solution for using it with firefox : Edit -- Preferences -- Downloads -- Plug-Ins... Bug#321256:
The bug is still present for me with version 3.05-1. (Compiling mplayerplug-in-3.05.tar.gz with the option --disable-rm solve the problem.) Best regards, Bin -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Bug#306530: powernowd: the same bug ...

The version 0.90 worked fine for me, why ? The program will then attempt to synthesize the table from the min, max, and step values. In your initial bug report, this clearly was happening, since the program reported the min and max and the fact that there was only a single step to switch between the two. The speed doesn't jump to 1199Mhz. But with version 0.90, it did. I have a apple iBook G4 1.2Ghz. This will allow you to watch the decisions the daemon is making as the load changes, and I suspect you'll be able to figure out what' s going on from there. Sorry. I don't know what I should do. I'll downgrade to version 0.90. Thanks. Bin Zhang For what it's worth, powernowd works fine on all the machines I run it on, which are based on the Intel Pentium M chips.
