Just in case you're curious, firebird uses itself in the build process
and fb_lock_mgr is the shared lock manager used by
firebird2-classic-server. The lock manager never quits once started and
hence the left processes.

I can't reproduce the FTBFS in my amd64 sid cowbuilder. Also no FTBFS
in the i386 sid cowbuilder. Both were non-parallel builds.

Looking at /usr/sbin/update-xmlcatalog, seems that only
