My first message was out off topic. PloneErrorReporting and PloneLanguageTool are just recommended in Plone 2.1 even if they are in the bundle. CMFPlacefulWorkflow will be in the same state in Plone 2.5. For ATContentTypes it's different, we need it to instanciate a plone site, and we need it to a minimal version: CMFPlone > 2.1 requires ATCT >1.0 and reciprocally. If we just recomand this package bug reports will come. Then I don't think it's a good idea to only recommands ATCT in CMFPlone, but we can choose to do the opposite, like for Archetypes package. Bug#346196: wpasupplicant: cannot get DHPC working with ipw2200
Package: wpasupplicant Version: 0.4.6-0.2 Severity: important Tags: patch Hi, first point, 0.4.7 is out, it may be fix in it. second point, I experiment this problem under 2.6.13, 2.6.14 and 2.6.15: http://www.bitsplitter.net/blog/?p=563 Resume: I installed 2.6.13 on my Thinkpad today (it’s magically changed from an R51 to an X32, you’re not gonna hear me complain). I figured I would follow up on my initial WPA Linux post and mention that the Wireless Extensions version 18 are included now, and the ipw2200 driver uses the wireless extensions instead of custom ioctl()s now. Net effect: compile wpa_supplicant with CONFIG_DRIVER_WEXT=y in the .config file, and run wpa_supplicant with -D wext to use the wireless extensions when wpa_supplicant is running. If you don’t you get an errors something like “ioctl[IPW_IOCTL_WPA_SUPPLICANT]: Operation not supported” when you run wpa_supplicant. The support seems to be a little rough on this new laptop, it takes a few tries sometimes to attach to the access point, and for some reason I can’t get DHCP replies. Though if I keep trying till it connects and then setup the interface by hand it works. I’ll have to dig into it at some other point and see what’s going wrong. Bug#293546: wmacpi just display a black box

Problem see with Afterstep 2.00.02-2 and there's no problem with WindowMaker 0.91.0-7. afterstep, too? i tested with windowmaker, fluxbox and twm; these work fine (twm has to disable its decorations). i experienced the same problem as you with KDE and XFCE. well, upstream is informed about that. :) Okay, I've had a closer look at this, and I think it's either a libdockapp issue or a window maker issue. What's happening is that libdockapp essentially forces apps using it to render to the icon window. This is the same with the libdockapp examples, so I don't think wmacpi is misusing the library. The window maker dock seems to display things fine whether it's displaying to the icon window or the app window, but most other window managers will only display the icon window when the app is iconified - this is why iconifying wmacpi under twm causes it to work. The WM dock displays things happily either way (try running wmifs under twm - it works exactly as expected, so it must be drawing to the main window), so I'm not sure why libdockapp is doing it this way . . . Sadly, my X11-fu is insufficient to modify libdockapp to switch the drawing around, so I can't change it to test. However, I'm fairly confident this is the problem. I guess this should be handed off to the libdockapp maintainer. I'm agree with you. Bug#297810: [Pkg-zope-developers] (no subject)
Fabio Tranchitella a écrit : severity 297810 minor thanks For some strange reasons I missed this bug report because it hasn't been forwarded to my mailbox, sorry. When you have installed zope2.7 debian package, you have been warned about this and you have been adviced to symlink products for zope2.7 instances, so this isn't a zope-cmfplone specific" ug. I put one other on zope-cmf. I just put the bug on them because with this system the maintainer of zope-cps package and I cannot use CMF packages for CPS the we build it in a all products in one package method. It's dirty. We are working to handle different zope versions (and different python versions) with only one product installation. I don't know if this will be included in sarge or not, but certainly we are taking care about this issue. All in all, this applies on almost all products and not only Plone. It seems good. I had done the work one year and a half ago but at that time nobody cares of it. Il giorno mar, 08-03-2005 alle 13:27 +0100, martin f krafft ha scritto: severity 297810 important thanks I agree that this is a bug, but it's no more than an important bug because it does not render the package unusable to everyone, just those using Zope2.7. In fact, I am not even sure whether this isn't just a plain wishlist bug. Thanks :) Anyway, my suggested fix would be to install Plone products to /usr/share/plone/Products, and then to symlink them individually to the two Zope hierarchies. However, this fails when the two Zope instances use different Python versions (which they do), because of pre-compiled modules. Thus, short of installing plone twice, I do not see an easy way out. Maybe then it would be possible to filter out common stuff into plone-common. Symlink is not a good idea. We use symlink for up-to-date products from version control (cvs, svn or arch). For packaging products we have to use more robust mecanism to protect instance about broken products on upgrade. We can use python to manage this with a .ini file. Note that I copied the Debian Zope developers list. I hope they have already worked out a policy for this. Otherwise we will need to get thinking about one soon! Yes, discuss of these question here (pkg-zope-developpers). I do not want to report more bugs on this but if I cannot see any discussion on it, I will think zope maintainers work is dead again. -- Encolpe DEGOUTE http://encolpe.degoute.free.fr/ Logiciels libres, hockey sur glace et autres activités cérébrales
