I also noticed that the debian package does not fail to build despite of
the test on get_mac. The Debian test does not handle multiple interfaces
neither. I have an update in my current working copy, I will check that
tomorrow.

found that a pgpring program is also provided by the mutt
package (/usr/lib/mutt/pgpring), whose source files are a bit different :( But
at a first look, there are enhancements, and the program still displays the
wrong

I was thinking about adding a SENDMAIL_OPTIONS variable rather than a SENDMAIL
variable since even ssmtp provides a sendmail command which is a symlink to
the ssmtp binary. And if am not mistaken, every MTA should provide the sendmail
command.
