I suspect a configuration problem on your side, perhaps enabling
the option System charset follows locale(LC_CTYPE)
(-o follow_locale=1) might help.

display of cookie related messages if set to NO. Additionally it makes
it possible to accept bad cookies without asking. Thus no delay because

chinese symbols seem to display ok
The output of the chinese symbols on one terminal-emulator does not
depend on whether i look on the source or the dump. So i conclude that
w3m does not change the symbols and it is a problem with the
terminal-emulator.

TODO the width of the additional link prefix (the number) is not considered
while rendering; the prefix should probably insert earlier or some data
updated
