all that might take some time yet.
Cryptsetup has a sysvinit autopkgtest that no longer works due to this,
could you please disable it so that src:systemd can migrate?
Thanks!

Which hardware is that? And what does 'EFI crash' mean exactly? What's

on.
You can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see any good reason why
anybody would need to run a polkitd:i386 on an otherwise amd64 system.
It's not what happens by default if you have i386 enabled and you type
'apt install polkitd' or so.
If someone wants for any reason t
is being re-
bootstrapped and thus will be broken until that process is finished. As
you can see src:systemd has not yet been rebuilt:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=systemd
You'll need to wait until the work is finished.

Sure, I'll add some weight: you appear to be com
sue with the system setting not
being applied.
Setting the default soft limit higher than 1024 means that any
application or library using ye olde select() _will_ break. So you need
to be extremely careful as things might go wrong in hidden and non-
obvious ways. It should be each application that raises its own soft
limit, until select() has disappeared completely that's the only safe
generic default unfortunately.

make the 'Uploaders' field optional instead of mandatory when the

It seems to me a safe way to fix this and do the right thing is to swap
the #DEBHELPER# token and the manual dbus-uuidgen block in dbus-
daemon's postinst. Then on systemd systems the tmpfiles will win and on
other systems dbus-uuidgen will do its job.

Honestly, if I didn't need this for $work, I'd have filed an RM bug
long ago. But the upstream 'releases' are even worse and vendor
everything including the full python interpreter and openssl, without
any security maintenance guarantees, so I don't want to have to rely

just works as part of an existing toolchain. If someone provides a
patch, that is tested against such workflows to confirm that they are
not affected, then I'd merged it, upstream.
If push came to shove, I will simply vendor the existing pcre code.

I've restarted it many times but no luck, it doesn't seem like a fluke.
https://ci.debian.net/packages/z/zfs-
emd-journald.service lists the
audit socket under Sockets=, but that adds an implicit Wants, so
effectively it is always activated automatically.
