Wrong, it's mc that clears the stty crtscts flag. It has no business
doing that. Screen OTOH knows that it shouldn't clear the flag even

Keys-Gtkr.pdb can still be read in jpilot and installed directly to the Treo,
so it does not appear to be a corrupted DB.

A mail from cron:

However, I can see garbage if I use uxterm + LANG=C. So I don't think that's
a mc problem...

Hi !
I think we should write a test program using 'SLsmg_write_nchars' (or
SLsmg_printf) to check if the bug comes from mc or slang2... Any volonteers?

Hi !
It seems that, open F, pdfinfo \$file\ , works even better (no
problems with single quotes in file names).
Could you confirm ?

Ok, I just applied a fedora patch. I downgrade this bug to minor now, since

With 4.6.1-3 release control-enter stopped to work. With 4.6.1-2 it
works fine (reverted only mc to that version to verify).
Sorry it works for me (tm).

Hello,
Just wanted to say that I had the same problem (on amd64/em64t too).
I 'straced' lamd on the remote hosts and found permission problems on /dev.
A few chmods fixed the problem:
chmod 666 /dev/tty*
chmod 666 /dev/pty*
Cheers,
Ludovic.
