ghcs6 being recompiled by gcc4.2 with its new optimizations. Once they
settle on the right set of optimiztions to turn off when compiling
ghcs6, this bug should go away.

The above 3 files are shipped in the .orig.tar.gz, however the build
system is not able to generate them. So the first time the package is
built, they are put into the .deb. The second time they package is
built, they are removed by make clean, and make does not regenerate
them.

attached is a patch which makes apt-get build-dep spit out the
broken dependencies when apt-get build-dep fails.

Please replace the build-depency on libdb4.6-dev with a versioned bulid
dependency on libdb-dev ( 4.6) as libdb4.6-dev is a virtual package
provided by libdb-dev. Having a build-dependency on a vitual package
has the potential to cause problems.

And how does that guarantee that an exim probably built weeks later
has the same binary

Do you also need to add dependencies (such as gettext) to the package?
Jens
gettext was being pulled in by the dependency on quilt. But since we
are calling a binary in gettext, I agree, we should build-depend on
gettext. Attached
