the default Google smart bookmark sends queries ISO-8859-1 encoded, but
links to http://www.google.com/search?q=%sie=UTF8. This breaks e.g.
queries with german umlauts.
Setting the encoding to UTF-8 fixes the problem.

I'm currently working on a fix for this libxf86config bug
(libxf86config writes a bogus XF86Config-4 when run with non-C-like
LC_NUMERIC locale -- see BTS); maybe this could be fixed before Sarge
releases.
