e, even though especially pre-iwlagn still appear to be
troubled under certain situations, it would be nice to know if this is
still an open problem for you in >= wheezy (kernel 3.2 and

Is this still a problem for you?
Looking through the bugreport and the involved source, I strongly
suggest that this is a ndiswrapper problem, rather than a bug in

While I have no personal experience with iwlagn/ iwlwifi, it might help
to load the module with "11n_disable=1", as there've been a couple of
rts buildable - and that's where my concerns of massive code
duplication of the full X.org 6.9 source tree return.
Yes, I'm aware of how well the NX protocol works over high latency and
low bandwidth links, but I also know how much of a nightmare it is to
work on that imake hell of the
3.5 code base rather soon? In a similar fashion FreeNX
appears to be dead upstream since November 2008 (and already was dead
way before that).
Wouldn't it make more sense to concentrate on filling the gaps to
re-use something like Red Hat's SPICE protocol for remote desktop uses?

At this moment, it has not been decided yet, if wheezy will ship
hostapd/ wpasupplicant 0.7.x or 1.0, as moving to the 1.x branch would
usually require a 1.0.0 upstream release well in advance to wheezy's
intended freeze date…

tted an according patch to svn[1].
I can't give an ETA for an upload at this moment, because we need to
debug issues with devices exposing both an RC_CORE and lirc interface
to userspace first, but it's supposed to get uploaded relatively soon

This debdiff, which contains the changes made in v1, is loosely based
upon #632749, #633878, #633880 and several other packages that needed
fixing.

there is an ongoing discussion[1] to bump it even further to

shortly after the merge window for kernel 3.3 closes).
In case you'd like to sponsor it instead, I've prepared an iw package
containing the new Recommends at[2] (the only change relative to [1]

currently regarded "optional" as well, although I do recognize that the
regdom setting is a bit lower level than actually using the wlan.
