Ok, I should have RTFM, it was probably written down somewhere: blender
in yafray mode is configured by default to export to xml, but the
directory to export to is unset, so blender can't export and doesn't
even try to launch yafray.
Perhaps a default yafray export dir should be set.

I'm confused what you're asking. If you compile your own, it should be
the same process as the old way. The only difference is that you now
need to keep the binary modules package in synch w/ the
ndiswrapper-utils package.
The 'ndiswrapper-modules-1.1' dependency was satisfied once I
/etc/mozpluggerrc of the 1.7.2
version the lines that are required to fix this bug. See the patch in
attachment.
BTW, to answer to Itai, xpdf (3.00-13) seems to work like a charm with

Hi,
I have a gnome-session with 2 epiphany windows starting automatically. 3
times out of 4, at login I'm greeted with a bug-buddy windows telling me
epiphany has crashed. Here is the info recorded by bug-buddy:
