You added too little
in router mode. Maybe a
suggestion of tools to use? Shorewall6 and Ufw would be my suggestions. Ufw do
have support upstream for handling FORWARD rules.
So, please add some/all of those suggestions and close this bug.

It isn't difficult to change a package name, it just takes time. As Jon
wrote, it's just a set of conflicts/replace/provides on the epiphany
package, and after two releases the name change is done.
