Bug#795584: python-hl7: FTBFS: AttributeError: assert_call_with

2015-08-15 Thread FladischerMichael

Hi Andreas,

Quoting Andreas Tille ti...@debian.org:

I realise that there might be an incompatibility with the latest
python-mock version but I do not have any idea how to fix this.

this seems to be simply a case of a missing legacy method name in
python-mock. unittest.mock, which is part of Python (=) 3.3 provides
assert_call_with() and assert_called_with() (the canonical name) but
python-mock only provides assert_called_with(). This causes the tests
to pass with Python (=) 3.3 but lets them fail for Python 2.7.

See the attached patch for a solution.

Cheers, Michael

Bug#756176: RM: python-librabbitmq -- ROM; python-amqp replaces it

2014-07-27 Thread FladischerMichael

Hi all,

sorry for not responding sooner, but planning and organizing a
wedding, getting married, being on extended vacation and breaking my
build-system did take its toll on my spare time :-)

Zitat von Thomas Goirand z...@debian.org:

python-librabbitmq is buggy (see: #747270), not maintained upstream anymore,
and is replaced by python-amqp. We made sure that there is no reverse
dependency remaining, and that all of them moved to use python-amqp, which
is currently the case (the last one was python-kombu, which has migrated
to testing).

This is not entirely correct, python-librabbitmq is actively
maintained, its last release 1.5.2[0] was 2 months ago. I was just not
able to prepare and test an new package because of my aforementioned
liabilities.

As a consequence, please remove python-librabbitmq from both Sid and Jessie.

I'm ok with the removal from testing due to the unfixed RC, but please
give me a chance to fix it in sid without going through NEW again. If
installed, python-librabbitmq is preferred[1] over python-amqp by
celery because it is much faster and recommended for larger deployments.

If you, Thomas or Brian want to help me with librabbitmqc and
python-librabbitmq I would surely be grateful. I hope to regain some
spare time to do this work in mid August.

Michael

Dear Maintainer,

Would you consider setting the package priority to:
Priority: optional

This way packages which already have Priority: optional can depend on
famfamfam-flag-png or famfamfam-flag-gif without violating Debian policy
2.5.

This would help rtpg-www and python-django-countries.

Bug#647021: iso-codes: Provide a trigger for translation updates

2011-10-29 Thread FladischerMichael
Package: iso-codes
Version: 3.29-1
Severity: wishlist

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Dear Maintainer,

I'm maintaining python-django-countries, a small package providing
country selection fields for the Django framework.
I patche upstream source to use the XML files provided by iso-codes to
create to value lists for the selections.
To provide translation through Django I18N I have to provide the gettext
binary files as django.mo. My next packaging release of
python-django-countries would create a symlink farm, symlinking
/usr/share/locale/XY/LC_MESSAGES/iso_3166.mo
to
/usr/share/pyshared/django_countries/locale/XY/LC_MESSAGES/django.mo

It would be nice to have a trigger activated by iso-codes to keep the
symlinks in sync with the translations. You could include the trigger
like this:

echo activate iso-codes-translation-update debian/iso-codes.triggers

Thanks,
Michael Fladischer

Drop-in substitute for Py2.7's new collections.OrderedDict. It has big-oh
performance that matches regular dictionaries (amortized O(1)
insertion/deletion/lookup and O(n) iteration/repr/copy/equality_testing).
..
Ordered dictionaries are just like regular dictionaries but they remember the
order that items were inserted. When iterating over an ordered dictionary, the
items are returned in the order their keys were first added.

Bug#584211: sssd: Using wrong KRB5 credentials cache file

2010-06-02 Thread FladischerMichael
Package: sssd
Version: 1.2.0-1
Severity: normal

After the upgrade of sssd to 1.2.0 I can no longer log into my dovecot
IMAP server.
Running `sssd -d 10` during a login attempt I get this:

It seems as sssd is trying to use the wrong krb5cc-file for my UID:
1006 is the UIDnumber that attempts the login which fails (me).
1014 belongs to another user who is logged in through SSH and IMAP at
the same time.

Bug#584227: ldb-tools: missing ldb(7) manpage

2010-06-02 Thread FladischerMichael
Package: ldb-tools
Version: 1:0.9.10~git20100203-1
Severity: minor

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

ldb(7) is mentioned in several manpages shipped with this package but it
cannot be found anywhere. It would be useful to be included since it
contains the format for the -H url parameter.
