Bug#801630: /sbin/mke2fs: mkfs fails on cryptosetup usb drive
I can't reproduce the problem. The sequence of comands that failed repeatedly are are now working as I expect. The cheap'o thumdrive is indeed slow. mkfs took just under 15min and didn't generate the journal entry. The device busy message from cryptsetup is gone. Between the bugreport and re-testing I updated my system, rebooted and copied /dev/zero to the thumbdrive. So I don't know what may have caused the 'blocked for more than 120 seconds' journal entry. I see that the system was in fsync(). I monitored the meminfo.writeback with /proc and could see it going down while the mkfs was in the "writing superblocks and filesystem ..." step. - Greg

Bug#561027: [glabels] problem printing with nimbus sans L font
Package: glabels Version: 2.2.5-1 Severity: normal --- Please enter the report below this line. --- A label that had worked failed to print. Cups was reporting the print job complete. I enabled PS errors on my samsung ML-2851ND and got output that reported a problem. ERROR: undefined, OFFENDING COMMAND: 0a, STACK: false, --mark--, The label displayed ok in print preview. I printed the label to a file and it displayed properly in xpdf, and print was successful. Then I created a new label with one text object like the failing case but with out modifying any parameters. It printed successfully, I modified one parameter of the test case at a time targeting a match with the failing case. When I matched the font selection, Nimbus Sans L, the print of the test case failed. I created a document in openoffice that used the Nimbus Sans L font and it printed ok. I'm not convinced that this is a glabels problem, but am not sure how to further isolate the problem. Bug#560424: [synaptic] Confused by APT::Default-Release vs synaptic-preferences-distribution
Package: synaptic Version: 0.63 Severity: normal --- Please enter the report below this line. --- The setting in the synaptic preferences-distribution tab can be inconsistent with the APT::Default-Release setting in /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/*.
