I have just upgraded metacity from 1:2.12.-3 and now applications
luanched from a terminal don't gain the focus anymore, instead the
terminal keeps it. This might not be a bug but an intended feature but

You can fix this by adding 5 to the rule which loads sg in
/etc/udev/hotplug.rules.
