future to maintain the package himself, perhaps you can contact people
from pkg-multimedia (the maintainers of Blender) or similar teams in
Debian -- maybe they would like to have Makehuman under their umbrella
and will help you

We are keen to get this change into Debian as the alpha-6 release is
several years old, doesn't work particularly well and is from an
abandoned code branch. We often get bug reports from people who have run
into this and get very confused since
