Hi,
I'm having the same bug here. Redirecting /dev/null to stdin or using
os.close(0) fixes the problem as mentioned in the previous emails.
Also the problem is in python2.5 because the bug doesn't occur when
running the same script with python2.4 explicitly.
Thanks,
Mathieu Blondel

Hi,
This bug / feature request is fixed in the development version. If you
can't wait next release, you can retrieve the source code with this command:

An option to save this option... Won't too many options become
confusing? We should try to limit options whenever possible. Sometimes I

Aaron, Sebastien,
I'm running an up-to-date Debian unstable and can't reproduce the bug.
Are you aware of the new file name convention? Since wikipediafs-0.3,
the .mw was introduced to distinguish sub-pages (directories) from
articles (files). This is documented in the man page. See:

Hum, I agree that ideally the window should show up automatically when a
word is searched with scan clipboard. To make the window pop up, I'm
using the ruby equivalent of gtk_window_present() which AFAIK is the
proper function to do what we want. However, window managers have their

This seems like a reasonable feature request :)

Hi,
Yes migrating to Gtk::StatusIcon is definitely in my TODO list. However,
for now you can safely remove libgtk-trayicon-ruby because it is
optional. It won't prevent Fantasdic from working.
