The same here - after I've installed nautilus 2.30.0-1 from experimental, I ended up with nautilus: symbol lookup error: nautilus: undefined symbol: nautilus_file_info_getter message and no nautilus running. Installing libnautilus-extension1 from experimental as suggested by Fabian solved this problem (thanks Fabian!) I can see the same behaviour on my Sid/Experimental mix: when I run oowriter or oocalc, splash screen shows briefly (just a flicker) and then ... nothing. I can confirm this behavior, when I use Linux Libertine O in OpenOffice.org 3.0 and set it as bold, result is bold italics. Also after upgrade to ttf-linux-libertine 4.4.1-1 I've noticed Linux Libertine (note missing O in name!, this fix is provided by /etc/fonts/conf.d/90-ttf-linux-libertine.conf) shows as bold instead of regular weight. Bug#509547: rt2500-source fails to build against 2.6.27 (AMD64)
Ben, great thanks for fixing rt2500 for 2.6.29! A few comments anyway: rt2500 will probably fail to build against each new kernel version, because it is abandoned and was crap code in the first place. ... Please try the rt2500pci driver in the standard kernel I know rt2500 may have been abandoned, but at least it gives me stable WiFi connection as opposed to rt2500pci in standard kernel which used to break my WiFi connection every few minutes - last failed test was on vanilla 2.6.28, strange things happening, no solution found (e.g. [1]). Pairing latest kernel and legacy rt2500 code was the only working solution for my hardware setup back then. Well, I'm going to give latest rt2500pci another try. What troubles me most is that I don't see what exactly solved it - I upgraded to 1.0.12, still bad, then tried to reload alsa (I'm not even sure what exactly does it do, sorry, just a shot in the dark), killed some processes still using audio devices and violá - playback works. I can see similar experience in original issue, reported by Javier - if I read him correctly, he was trying to debug the issue, and at some point it just started to work without any obvious reason.
