Bug#794215: chromium isn't your default browser

2015-07-31 Thread dominique . baudelin

Package: chromium
Version: 44.0.2403.89-1~deb8u1

Severity: normal

Dear maintener,
When I run a chromium session the system always plays:
Chromium isn't your default browser
then the choice is Set as default or Don't ask again.
Nothing works.
In Chromium settings same messages; nothing works as well.

I suggest that the set as default button works.

I am using:
Linux debian 3.16.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.16.7-ckt11-1+deb8u2 (2015-07-17)
x86_64 GNU/Linux

Bug#779041: Parameter settings doesn't work

2015-02-23 Thread dominique . baudelin
Package: gnome-control-center
Version: 3.2.0-4-amd64
Severity: normal
Tag: Parameter settings
Patch:

Dear maintener,
I use wheezy 7 with gnome classic.
At first the gnome-control-center GUI was effective and I could run Parameter
settings.
Then I clicked on my personal menu Parameter settings and the run didn't work
anymore.
I'll like that the Parameter settings run displays the activities provided
for wheezy.
Regards.

(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment
variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Bug#776641: wmii window whithout blinking cursor

2015-01-30 Thread dominique . baudelin
Package: wmii
Version: 3.9.2+debian amd64
severity: important
Tag: no blinking cursor
Patch:

Dear maintener,

I installed wmii by synaptic and I use the wmiirc for end-user.
I run the view window with Mod+return. There is a prompt but no blinking
cursor.
I switch off the computer.

I'll like type some commands.

I wrote the follow commands:
setterm -cursor on
xsetroot -cursor_name left_ptr
in .xinitrc or wmiirc_local whithout much success.
Same problem with ( wmii(sid-unstable)(X11) 3.10-20120413+hg2813-8:amd64)

Cheers,
