Thanks for your Feedback. I first have to check if I have an adapter
left. I use them now in a productive esx server.
The rest of the hardware is still there. Mayby I have to buy an adapter
for further test. I'll let you know.

I have a problem with the e1000 driver. The network card is not working
correctly.
It looks like the problem shows only up with more then 4GB Memory. I have the
same behavier with
an etch system under xen. On that system the card is working if I tr
-clients should be installed to get the message 1
update pending away. Is there an other package manager used, than it's
used to calculate the number of pending packages?

Now I have rolled my one stock 2.6.20.1 kernel. With this kernel the
oopses are gone and the phone is usable.

the older 2.6.17 kernel execpt the sky lookup bug
#391382.
