There is a typo in the bug report:

On my system (Debian jessie), I cannot reproduce this bug (using the
test case) with CMake 2.8.11 and 2.8.12. I can reproduce it with an older CMake.
So it looks like this was fixed at some point between 2.8.5 and 2.8.11.
