Thanks for reporting this. Looking at the source, I think I have found the
problem:
/* this could only infinite loop if no other players had any cards */
I have no idea why we didn't fix that instead of writing the comment, but it
will be done now. :-)

That's great! I was afraid the report was so incomplete to be

After a bit more checking, it seems the problem was a bit less trivial than I
thought: the AI wouldn't actually

A pioneersai process locked up the game and ran away with near-100% CPU
time after playing a Monopoly development card. My suspicion is that it
didn't know how to respond to the server's request for which resource to
acquire.
