Bug#426151: compiz move the windows start location when it is loaded
It's probably because you need to enable the place plugin. To do this, open the configuration editor and point it at /apps/compiz/general/allscreens/options. Double-click the active_plugins entry and add en entry called place to it (without the quotes). You can then control how windows get placed by modifying the /apps/compiz/plugins/place/screen0/options/mode entry. I have mine set to Centered (again, no quotes) but you can set it to Cascade, Smart, Maximize, or Random. -- Kevin Brown [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
