Bug#680187: powertop: Cannot load from file /var/cache/powertop/saved_parameters.powertop

2012-07-04 Thread Salvo Tomaselli
Package: powertop
Version: 2.0-0.2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,
When i try to start powertop, it just messes the terminal so it needs reset.
By redirecting the output, I've found out that it prints this error message:
 Cannot load from file /var/cache/powertop/saved_parameters.powertop
before clearing the screen.

The cache/powertop directory is empty.

I know that doesn't help you but powertop works fine here.

By redirecting the output, I've found out that it prints this error message:
  Cannot load from file /var/cache/powertop/saved_parameters.powertop
 before clearing the screen.
 The cache/powertop directory is empty.

Same here, so this seems not related to your problem.

Cheers,
gregor (not the maintainer)
