see dataloss - merely that I sometimes have trouble
adding a shared library has been discussed with upstream. Upstream does
not want to support it as it does not want to deal with issues which
arise from incompatibilities between different shared library build options.
I don't think its worth the trouble to fix this in a Debian specific way.
