Hi,
If dpkg-cross is installed, it provides it's own dpkg-buildpackage,
which potentially replaces the *_${arch}.changes file with

I tried to reproduce the situation where 'source+arch' appears, but
failed.
And, as far as I can read the code, dpkg-cross version of
dpkg-buildpackage should not do this.
First, before doing any .changes processing, it checks if there are

I guess I should add libetpan10-dbg package with library debugging
symbols... will do soon.
Yes, that'd help -- and Ricardo plans to do it for claws mail too.
I've just uploaded libetpan 0.48-3 that adds libetpan-dbg package.
Since there is a new binary package, the upload went to NEW

Currently, section 5.11.2 states:
If there is no debian-revision component in the version number then one
should be created, starting at `0.1'.
So this looks like NMU of debian-native package should not be
debian-native package?
Or it should

/etc/init.d/pulseaudio may call chown/chnmod on non-existing object, and
fail, and immediately exit because of set -e.

I've filed the bug report after I've seen that someone has shown
[non-technical] users of our network that they may use vnc-over-ssh to
get graphical sessions on our application server from outside of our

using 'standard procedure', I got system that prints lots of error
messages on boot. All messages are about unable to connect to LDAP server

I think that correct solution for the issue is to make udev package to
create (in local /etc/groups) all missing groups referenced in it's
default configuration files.
I don't.
If you believe that some users or groups need to be unconditionally
created please
And in the current situation, udev is *the* package that, by
installing it's default configuration files, injects references to
non-resolvable-locally users and groups into early stage of boot.
Wrong. Your expectations to what is allowed to be
non-resolvable-locally are not in sync with

Since the comments in this bug report are actually about package already
existing in Debian, not about one I'm going to upload, I see no reasons to
delay upload any more.
Will upload tomorrow.
To avoid confusion, will remove reference to 2002 from package description.
