Yes, but I have realized that the situation is more complicated.
When I start kregexpeditor alone (from the command line), and I click
to 4.4.0-4 then to 4.4.1-1 ?
Have to say there are not changes from -3 to -4 that might cause this problem,
but another possibility is that you have mixed versions from a older version?

Companies having a kde installation can select from kdeaddons those packages
thay are interested in and skip atlantikdesigner.
FYI, there is not longer either kdeaddons or atlantik in kde4, so this bug is
doomed to be closed whtn kde4 enters in unstable.

The attached patch is taken from upstream and fixes the issue with g++ 4.3.
I ran into this, rebuilt the libcdparanoia0-dev package with the attached
patch and the problem was solved.

removal and if somebody is interested, s/he can package the possible port to
