This is completely false. Although the original reporter may have been
using Python 2.4 causing his pygst to be missing, Quod Libet makes no
use of D-BUS, and its lack will not cause QL to stop functioning.

I inflated the severity of this bug.
This bug has been reproduced by a colleague of mine. He discovered that
a workaround was to resize the gnome-terminal window, then resize it
back to its original size. After that, vi draws properly.

Sorry, I realized my response was totally unhelpful for a short term
solution. If you upgrade to PyGTK 2.8 from unstable, QL should run fine
again. This is a horrible situation between PyGSt and PyGTK.
