Hi,

elserv-url-decode-string()

Hi,
For the record, in the case of cowdancer; the solution was
system("find . -xdev -print0 -type f | xargs -0 stat --format '%d %i ' >
.ilist");
to add a space after '%i' in '%d %i', so that
there is a whitespace for later consumption.

Hi,
I've noticed that it's also affecting cowdancer.
I'm planning on getting a workaround and fixing it in 0.7.
However, from an upstream software POV, this is
a nightmare.
I'll need to check for stat version
Hi,
I've experienced the same error with
libg2c0-dev 1:3.4.4-9
ia32-libs 1.5
I could remove libg2c0-dev to install ia32-libs,
and reinstall libg2c0-dev afterwards.
Trying to re-install ia32-libs again fails.
I tried to reproduce it within fresh pbuilder, with
apt-get install g77

Hi,
Initex command symlink is removed from tetex-3.0,
since it was apparently a cause of lot of confusion.
Especially since tetex-3.0 switched (again) to
pdfetex for generating latex formats.
Thanks Julian for the info

Hi,
anyway, the following changes will be applied to Debian whizzytex default

It's not only postinst scripts that will use initex.
initex is a well-known interface for generating

Hi,
There is a change in tetex-3.0 Debian package which
removes 'initex' 'einitex' commands, and requires 'tex -ini'
instead.
According to the maintainers, this is an upstream change,

Quoting someone who doesn't want to be mentioned:
I've noticed this bug in the BTS. It also bit me during the last tex update,
as whizzytex is completely broken by it, not just FTBFS. Upstream's
suggestion for this was to replace einitex by "etex -ini". This can for
example be done in /etc/whizzy

Hi,
This RC bug has been open for 2 months now, and no action has been
taken; I don't see much progress either.
Is the maintainer MIA?

Hi,
dpkg in Debian woody (3.0) is broken by recent linux kernels;
due to the following command changing behavior (mmap of
zero-byte length):
addr=mmap(NULL, 0, PROT_READ, MAP_SHARED, fd, 0);
These bugs are caused by mmap changing behavior;
it used to return NULL when given a length of 0.
