Older versions of tinyxml defined both XML_NO_ERROR and XML_SUCCESS to 0. Never
versions define only XML_SUCCESS.
Attatched is a patch that replaces XML_NO_ERROR with XML_SUCCESS

This log is not verbose. Could
Gitk now renders properly for me.
I believe I uninstalled libx11-6 and all dependent packages then
reinstalled everything in one go. I did some apt-get upgrades before
and/or after that too.
There was no change in gitk behavior within the existing X session,
however after restarting the computer
control: tags -1 patch
attached a patch, unfortunately I can't upload because it seems the latest
flann.
(I'm opening a bug)
