Quick update:
I'm preparing new upstream release which fixes this bug, but it will
take a little longer because I must assure compatibility with
python-launchpadlib. It also needs another Python module not available
in the archive yet. I plan to fix these issues during the next week.

Hmmm,
In my system with an empty /etc/resolv.conf, the name resolving issue is
still not fixed with 2.10.1-3 (my other system with a non-empty
/etc/resolv.conf doesn't have any problems). I don't know what relevant
info to give about the system...
