On a related note, 'sudo vi anyfile' now complains about not being able to open $HOME/.viminfo when I exit vi and requires a carriage return to acknowledge. I had to go out and research that I need to add Defaults env_reset to my sudoers file -- this seems like breakage for a stable release.
