Hi ZenWalker,
I have today successfully built this package in bullseye, on my amd64
(pbuilder) and on tests.reproducible-builds.org.
Dennis, Cyril,
Downloading the patches from the bts works fine. The patches can be applied
with ignoring whitespaces (option -l). The patches solve the FTBFS.

The package at mentors uploaded there on 2012-09-14 15:53 does not seem to be a
solution. I tried building this package on amd64 and the build entered a loop
using 100% cpu. Output of debuild -us -uc attached.
dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -D -us -uc
dpkg-buildpackage:
the package giving it some more time and it builds fine.
So reading the comments from others on this bug I guess that this package is OK
for wheezy.

Hello J G Miller,
Can you verify and test Scott Kitterman's patch ? I can build a test package
for you if you need it.

I don't know where that file comes from, and I don't find any license. We
cannot assume that it's GPL because we know that vslib/README is not accurate.
So we don't have a permission to redistribute vslib/getopt2.cpp.
