Debian Sarge/testing cdimages
hello, about the unofficial CD images from Sarge/testing on ftp://ftp.fsn.hu/pub/CDROM-Images/debian-unofficial/ they are bootable, but the installation is not correct. CD1 contains an old or other installation than the latest 02012004 (??) and CD2 is bootable with the 02012004 installation, however it is not working, while the direct from the internet-installation of 02012004 is working. I think the problem is the Packages(.gz) file in dists/sarge/main/debian-installer/binary-i386 of something with the modules (?) How could I fix this myself and/or could it be fixed in the next version of the cdimages ? Alfred p.s. asking for mirrors of the official testing cd images
Hi! Some people have been asking here if we could set up rsync in gluck so that mirrors of the official cd images could be set up, I have asked for this to debian-admin but there has been no answer till now. So, as I believe that the mirrors would be a good thing, I was wondering who would be insterested in mirroring and if we could setup some kind of push mirror from gluck to these mirrors, so that I could do an rsync upload, when the image creation ends, to the mirrors, or something like that (sugestions are welcome). Hope we can find some solution for this problem, comments and suggestions are welcome. I am a first time user want to be,. I went to the page for the downloads to select what I wanted to download, problem is there are many files to download (approx 20 files, most with .template and . jigdo). Do I want to download all of these files?
