...And I'd like us to consider this point as well: How important are
CD images nowadays? Who has a CD that cannot read a DVD?
You may visit some poorer people in the world.
But hey, if they want CD-bread, why don't they just eat
I cannot make a full, fair comparison between desktop environments, as
I use none. I saw several people bark at GNOME 3, but most of them are
happy adopters nowadays, so, I don't believe that factor should carry
much weigh nowadays. Besides, as Jordi says, making end users re-learn
everything
in the presence of the
individual debs and Jigdo files? Yes, it would probably be much more
processor-intensive than just downloading a file, so I might be
talking nonsense...

about 8Mbps, but who am I to complain?). It was a busy night for my

have a PGP key? Send me your public key, I'll send you the details.
I'd like to have them under http://iso.softwarelibre.org.mx/cover/ or
something like it, do you agree? (I have a couple of ISO images at this
site, and I think it'd be logical for your stuff to be next to it)

Hi,
It is not possible - There are no official Debian CD vendors ;-)
Is this 100% sure? I've heard of a boxed Debian product... If there is
such a stuff, there is an official Debian CD vendor.
Well, I have seen it, a friend of mine sells it - He also prints the boxes
;-)

Hello,
I am interested in becoming an official debian CD vendor. Could you
please send me more information?
Hi,

You are welcome, of course, to be a Debian CD vendor - But nothing will
make you an official one.

?) people
that the reason for the .raw extension is that the .iso hasn't been
released yet; instead, people just think .raw is a nutty convention.
I agree with you. Maybe it would be clearer:
debian-3.0-disk1-NOT-READY-YET.iso
;-)

I must go on working now... But well, this is my report. I hope it is
useful.
