l ship different Perl modules than upstream version.
The Olson database is public domain and it doesn't require to be
distributed as "real" source. I.e. ICU C++ library also doesn't ship
Olson database as its original format and it is stored as precompiled
C++ source f
so I called parse_olsen
translator and I've got the path for new Debian source package.
Of course it builds our Debian binary package correctly.

A few days ago I've uploaded new experimental version of yada. This is
alternative way of building packages which doesn't use debhelper and
doesn't require editing of Makefile.
The last release introduces macro preprocessor and 'build-indep'
make target.

/usr/share/perl for distribution's modules and /usr/share/perl5 for

architecture. I've tested my modified fakeroot on alpha, sparc and ia64 and it
works pretty well.
I read another thread about fakeroot and I think I'll start new project called
i.e. fakechroot which will be based on original fakeroot. The original project
should be as stable as
mount/umount calls? I'm afraid this syscall is too
complicated to override in faked envrionmend.
I'd like to make "/proc" directory transparent for chroot-ed environment.
It would be possible to use pstools. Another idea?
