Is there anything that the ia64 backend is currently blocking in gcc?

Please don't post Alpha-related stuff to the ia64 list. Also, I would like to
solve
one problem after another as debugging debian-installer issues with very
time
after I made this change.
I will send in a patch for src:libunwind to create a udeb, although I'm a bit
surprised that we haven't run into this problem before with other d-i
components.

However, I uploaded the netboot image into the grub-test directory [1].

th within the EFI partition?
You're the very first person to test the netboot image. I merely copied the
configuration
from arm64 and adapted it for ia64. There was no testing at all, so if
something doesn't
work, you know why.
That's why I want to focus on the CD images first.

Is this on ia64? If yes, are you running Wheezy or Unstable?

Hi Pedro!
You can install Debian unstable on this machine. To use ELILO 3.16, you would
have to use unstable actually.
I can give you instructions later as I’m currently not at the computer or
someone else on this list can help you.

h should be enough as the installation
process for grub-efi-* is standardized and the code for grub-efi-amd64
in grub-installer should also work

Setting up a new public ia64 porterbox is on the TODO list but we're
currently lacking another free machine for that.
Either way, I need your public OpenSSH key, your desired username and
both sent in a signed private mail.
