Hi,
I can reproduce this problem. Unloading the module before suspending
works around the problem.
Perhaps this is related:

Attempting to suspend with the xhci_hcd module loaded breaks suspend and causes
the computer to resume immediately. This is an intermittent problem - it does
not always occur, but once it does it will continue to occur everytime
