Eh... I installed 2.6.21(-1-k7) on my laptop today, and couldn't boot on
that kernel, with the same error message about the root filesystem, but
the following in dmesg (for some reason I ended up in busybox : neat!) :

With the experimental paravirtualization options enabled, it is also
impossible to load the VMware kernel modules. I find this ironic since

The missing gnbd.ko block device driver renders gnbd package useless. And it
should be there, with other modules. gnbd is a very important piece of the
cluster suite.
I tried to use module-assistant, but the redhat-cluster-source package does not
contain debian/rules.
What could be done?
