I managed to get my laptop running again. It was a hardware issue with the
battery and I hopefully found more info on the internet.
Let's get back to my previously submitted issues :
1. No sound :

My laptop is dead so I won't be able to add more information here.
It worked 10 days
I hope someone with similiar hardware configuration will be able to continue
diagnose and report these issues.

I get the same error message with ASUS A7K laptop.
I thought it was a bios issue and I upgraded to the lastest AMI bios
provided by asus : A7KAS.206 which was updated last week !
Without parameters, the system hangs at boot time.
