Hi, i'm working on improving the boot system as part of the google
summer of code (1) with Petter Reinholdtsen as my mentor, and we are
working on a script that would check init scripts correct order. As a
result, problems with the boot process would be reduced and a faster
parallel execution
Hi, a list containing the LSB-compliance to runtime dependencies of init
scripts is now available at
URL:http://initscripts-ng.alioth.debian.org/soc2006-bootsystem/lsblist.html.
It has currently only the desktop task init-script subset for Sid and
relates each script with a bug report
GNU/Linux Unstable, kernel 2.6.16-2-486
cheers,
